VIDEO: Jessica Alba & The Honest Company extend Maternity Leave at Salesforce Dreamforce Women’s Leadership Summit – Yesterday in San Francisco, Jessica Alba announced that, starting January 2016, both men and women will be eligible for 16 weeks of paid paternity/maternity leave. Alba shared the news during a panel, also featuring YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and CBS anchor Gayle King. The panel included discussion on women in tech, startup learnings, and coding for young girls. Alba also shared her first job in Riverside, CA was to dress up as a clown, advertising condos for sale. She was paid $20.
She also shared her hiring philosphy: “I love when we hire people who are parents because they know how to multitask and are very efficient,” said Alba.
