The San Francisco Film Society (SFFS) will be welcoming two famous and funny guests at the Castro Theatre on Tuesday, November 18th: Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will be at the historic venue in a one-night-only event to discuss their collaborative works and to present a special advanced screening of their latest film The Interview, starring Rogen and James Franco. The action comedy features Rogen and Franco as tabloid TV “journalists” who attempt to land an interview with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, only to find themselves recruited by the CIA in an attempt to assassinate him. Rogen and Goldberg co-directed and co-produced the film as well as worked on the story together. It is the childhood best friends’ latest endeavor in a memorable and uproarious line of work that includes Superbad, Pineapple Express, and This is the End.
Advanced tickets for this event are currently not available, but you can try your hand at obtaining rush tickets. If you are an SFFS member or want to become a member, a limited number of tickets will be available for advance purchase shortly. For ticket and event information, visit the SFFS website.
