Holiday Heroes Fundraiser for Wender Weis Foundation for Children to Take Place 12/8 at AT&T Park

The Wender Weis Foundation for Children—which helps youth in underserved communities—will be holding its annual Holiday Heroes event on Monday, December 8th from 5:45-8:30PM at AT&T Park. This festive fundraiser is one of the biggest holiday parties of the year for children and families in the Bay Area. There will be face-painting, teddy bear stuffing, holiday cookie decorating, arts and crafts, video games, a photo kiosk, a candy bar, a silent auction, and much more! Gavin Pola of Master Chef Junior will also be in attendance for a cooking demo. Additionally, guests can enjoy their favorite ballpark foods and holiday beverages, go inside the batting cages and dugout at AT&T Park, and have opportunities to meet Bay Area athletes and personalities. Some of the athletes expected to be in attendance include Stevie Johnson from the 49ers; Oakland Raiders Taiwan Jones, Justin Tuck, and LaMarr Woodley; and Jonny Moseley of the US Olympics ski team. High-level sponsors and donors will enjoy a pre-event VIP reception which includes appetizers, wine, early access to the batting tunnels and dugout, s’mores on the field, and the inspiration award presentation.

This super fun and family-friendly holiday soiree is one not to be missed. Tickets for this event are available now, including lots of Giants-related perks like game tickets, autographed items, and bobbleheads for high-level sponsors and donors. If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute, you can sponsor an at-risk child and chaperone or family to go to the event.
